This is th
e beginning of a weekly feature of each band of the festival and will lead all the way up to the festival. This weeks featured band has performed at the festival since the beginning six years ago. We want to welcome the first featured band of the week is Special Consensus. A musical act that has been grammy nominated brings their talent back every year. Full of traditional bluegrass music, Special Consensus also has brought new light to the songs of John Denver with their Grammy nominated album of “Country Boy: The music of John Denver.” Founder Greg Cahill also is a teacher at the Old Town School of Folk and a founder of Traditional American Music program that he has been working on since 1984. This brings traditional American Music to the class room.
